This was a replacement for a previous Orpheum built in 1924. The auditorium’s sloped floor profile can be seen still embedded in a portion of remaining block wall which is now outdoors and used as a retaining wall in the parking lot for the bank building which replaced the theatre (taking up roughly half of the size the theatre was).
