I was the resident DJ (Norman Scott) when the Regal became the Sundown in the early 1970’s.It became an entertainment complex as a Disco,Concert Venue and Cinema.I worked with T.Rex,Rod Stewart and Elton John amongst others when they appeared there.

Hi Norman. hope you are well. You probably don’t remember me. My name is Jeff…. You used to let me in early at the rear of the sundown. As they. Would never let me in at the front. I looked too young. Well I was actually. I would help get your records out and supply you with 1 or 2 Canadian clubs as I recall. They were great days, and I look back with great memories.
I remember Golden Earring, in the mid 70s. My hearing is still recovering!
Hi Norman I remember you at the Sundown loved the place ..slow dancing with my first girlfriend Walk on the wild side …You played great stuff but had to play pop Gary Glitter was big then !@ you still a DJ ? remember you twirling the Mike knocked someone one night who got too close to stage you probably don’t recall
Hi Jeff66 and all who knew me at the Sundown,Edmonton. Yes I’m still alive and in full working order. I do remember you Jeff and the fact that you were always waiting for me to arrive.I believe my cab used to drop you off home sometimes.In Christmas 1972 I compered the T-Rex & Faces concerts.They were the best of times.
