This detail from a 1951 aerial view is not well exposed but it shows the plan of the Arcadian. To the right can be seen how exit stairs from the balcony were built out from the main structure of the cinema. There was a car park behind the screen end of the building. Trees on Legrams Lane screened the expanse of brick wall on that flank. The footpath against the building, leading to exit doors at the let of the screen, can be made out.
