Saw Mickey Rooney in “It’s A Mad Mad Mad, Mad World” at the Cooper Theater, Oklahoma City, back in 1963. He was at his best…Playing a slap stick in a nutty film….Another loss that can never be replaced. RIP Mr. Rooney!

Yes saw an old film of his today which was one of his first dark drama movies. “Quicksand”. Great fun! Judy and he are probably going to put on a show tonight in a barn. Lets go!
I recall seeing Quicksand several moons ago and Mickey, for me, gave a excellent performance in a out of character role..He was multi talented as a actor but, best, for me, in a comedy. Would be really great if he and Judy were hitting it again somewhere up yonder ways.
