The Tivoli Theatre is a former movie house that has been restored for live entertainment including comedians, musicians and live entertainment.

The front facade has been painted a leaf green with a large vertical down the middle with "Tivoli" in blocks on each side and rows of flashing bulbs on the back side. The V shaped marquee is used to announce upcoming shows.

In the 1930s, the Tivoli was the theater in town that showed first-run films.

The theater was also damaged in an overnight fire in September of 1958. Showing was "Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)."

The lavish Tivoli Theatre was a perfect setting in which to watch a Jeanette MacDonald/Nelson Eddy operetta. To see what I mean go to site below, type in word "tivoli", then search. . .

This is a January 2009 article about the Tivoli being remodeled. It mentions that the Tivoli was known as the Princess Theater in 1916.
