The Kahala Mall 8 opened in 1990 by Consolidated theatres. Seating is listed at 1922. Of the theatres that I have visited in Honlulu this is the least favorite. Cramped and crowded seating and a very unattractive lobby, it is a typical mall cinema.

This theater got renovated because the flood that happened a few years back.

The Kahala 8 Theatre was opened in December 1986.
