Not related to the All Jersey multiplex, this theatre is the only theater left in Newark showing movies, and the only theater in the area that's now independently run after originally owned by Sony/Loews, which would run the nearby theater in Elizabeth.

Opened in 1993 near the epicenter of the infamous 1967 riots. This theater could be closing soon.
