In 1987 the Apollo Theater stood closed and for sale. The front of the red brick building had been covered over with off white colored stone work. A square white marquee extended out and was trimmed with ornate metal work. Above the marquee "Apollo" was spelled out in blue script and below was a stand alone ticket booth and entrance recessed into the front of the building.

Does anyone know of the Malco Sunset Cinema 9 at 2940 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale. I can't seem to find any info on this theatre.

Same thing avaiable by hitting the map button in the header. Just a double post.

That's actually incorrect, as hitting the map button puts you a couple of blocks down the street. The second photo shows the theater, but you would have to enter 416 W. Emma if you wanted to jump directly to the correct view.

Strange I had not trouble finding it with the mapping. Are we so desperate that we have to use mapping for photos? We were all told once before not to link to mapping photos.
