This small, single-screen drive-in, with room for about 150 cars is one of only a handful of outdoor theaters still in business in Arizona. Located off US Highway 60, between Globe and Miami, the Apache is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.

Sorry, I had bad lens flare and not a good angle when I took that photo. Here is a slightly better angle and I'll definitely stop and get better pictures next time I am up there.

O.K. Leonard was the owner/operator of the Apache in the early 1960s. There was a story in Boxoffice magazine in June 1962 that reported O.K.'s wife had fallen and broken her hip. Nothing got by those intrepid reporters, to be sure.
