The Grant Theatre opened in 1921 and operated into the 60s. It stood on 29th Place near 49th Avenue. The building still stands today but appears unused.

The Grant theater is listed as having 325 seats.

For decades this theater was known locally as "The Garlic" because of the heavy Italian population in the old Grant Works neighborhood of Cicero that attended the silent films there.
