Opened as a single screen later converted to a twin by B & B Theatres. Located on E. Main Street at Santa Fe Avenue. First run features. I could find no time line or seating capacity on the Chanute.

The Chanute Cinema I & II was closed by B & B Theatres in 2008.

This theater is not listed on the B&B Theatres website. A new four screen theater was built by B&B Theatres at 320 East Main Street. This theater might be closed. Press release

LM, the Cinema at 309 is closed, closed when the new Roxy 4 opened. According to the B&B web site it is at 302 East Main St. so that would put it across the street from the original old theatre.

Thanks Chuck. I don't see the Roxy Cinema 4 listed on Cinema Treasures.

The Roxy Cinema 4 is not listed on CT. There is a web site for theatres in Kansas and the Chanute Cinema I & II is listed but not showing any movies. If you have the info on the Roxy why not add it.
