Coury’s Drive-In was opened on June 15, 1956 with James Stewart in “The Man From Laramie” & Tom Ewell in “The Lieutenant Wore Skirts”. It had room for 600 cars. It closed on September 16, 1992 with “3 Ninjas” and “Honey I Blew Up The Kid". An Ocean State Job Lots discount store now sits on the site.

This location is not Wal-Mart. THAT is located at 1415 Curran, down the highway towards Howland.

The Drive-in location is Job Lots discount store.

It was named “Coury’s” because it was run by Al Coury.
