The Lily seemed an appropriate name for one of Floral Park's early cinemas. The Lily did not survive into the sound era, but was converted into retail space that retained some of its exterior decor. For many years, the tenant was a Firestone auto supplies agency, but information is needed about the current status of the site.

Copied from microfilm, this image shows the Lily Theatre, which had stores on both sides of the building. Some of the Lily's exterior decor was retained for its conversion into retail space:

212 Jericho Turnpike is a Firestone Tire and Auto Service shop. I don't know if its the same building as the former theater.
