The Skyline Drive-In opened on September 11, 1948 with Randolph Scott in “Gunfighters”. Ted Mann, of Mann Theaters renown, operated a small circuit in Minnesota in the early-1960’s. The Skyline Drive-In was part of his operation at the time. It was closed on August 31, 1986.

The Skyline Drive-In opened Sept. 11, 1948. The first attraction was a Columbia western, “Gunfighters” in Cinecolor. In these days drive-ins often showed only one feature. The next attraction was “April Showers”. The last season was 1986.
