The 1951 Film Daily Yearbook gives an address of 41 Washington St., South Norwalk, and seating for 1576.

I went by the Directory but either way, the railroad tracks interrupt that property area. Chase is #50 yet is situated on the odd numbers side of the street.

I remember this theater. It was just north of the railroad tracks almost across from the So. Norwalk station. This was in the 50's.I was working at the Norwalk DI and attended a kiddie show at the Empress.
