This movie theater was originally four screens and was managed by Cobb Theatres. An expansion in 1993 resulted in a new lobby and four additional screens. Shortly afterward, Regal purchased the multiplex.
Touchstar Cinemas operated the theater from 2004-2011, when it was taken over by Sapphire Motion Pictures. The theater currently shows first-run movies. By 2020 it was once again operated by Touchstar Cinemas.

This was the first theatre I was a General manager at. I worked for Cobb Theatres at the time and we ran 4 endless loop platter systems. Let’s just say I learned more lessons at this little four plex than any theatre I have worked at to this day. While the theatre was nothing spectacular, I do have fond memories of running it.
Please update, the theatre opened on November 27, 1985 Cinema Square Theatres, it was taken over by Cobb Theatres in the early 1990’s, it was expended to 8 screens on June 23, 1995 as the Cobb Theatres Spring Hills 8. (Both it’s Grand Opening ads in the photos section.)
Please rename theatre to Sping Hill 8 as per theatre website and total seats is 569
