This is a very unique independent theatre located in an aging building in the Old Town area of Fort Collins, Colorado. The building that was once a drive-through cleaners is now a low-key theatre and cafe that features current independent films. The atmosphere matches the independent spirit of the films it shows with its minimalist furnishings and take-or-leave-it attitude. Filled with vintage seats from old movie theatres and comfy couches up front, this is a fun place to see a movie. There is a cafe in front and they serve alcoholic beverages. The first movie I saw there was delayed because the still-in-training projectionist burned the film in the projector. That would usually be a bad thing, but it just made me feel more at home.

A very comfortable, funky and fun twin. I am glad that it is open. The theater opened about a year and a half ago (from the date of this comment). The vintage seats were really fun and added a nice touch. I attended a showing of "The Shop Around The Corner" in December of 2008. Sadly, it was shown on DVD via digital projection but I am glad I got to see such a lovely holiday film on the big screen. The 35mm projection is with Century projectors, Christie lamphouses and a platter system. In one of the theaters, they shoot the image at an angle thru a strange mirror system. The only negative that I could day is that I suspect (key word, "suspect") that things have not changed much in the projection department since Julie's (see above) visit. I have heard of *cough* a certain theater that has gotten two damaged prints from them. But everyone there is new and I'm sure this sweet little theater will just keep improving with age.
A unique and relaxing arthouse to visit!

That is unique, going from a drive thru dry cleaners to a cinema. The photo that LM links to is a pretty good photo of the exterior.
