The Acme theatre was situated in Shatin in the New Territories on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. It opened to business on 18th February, 1985, and showed first run Chinese films until its closure on 1st January, 1999. Its 764-seat auditorium was on the first floor of an entertainment building. The building now houses a church.
