The Aladdin opened as Geller's Theater and was originally a vaudville theater for Jack Benny and other popular entertainment of the times.

Starting in the 1930's, the theater was transformed into a neighborhood mom and pop movie house.

In later years, the business went sour and the theater was forced to show adult films for 20 years before ownership changed.

The Aladdin Theater is now a popular live music club.
