This was a small third tier local cinema located in the colliery village of Bedlinog. It was operational during the 1930's.

Its programming was rather unusual for a small valley hall in that it changed its programme on a daily basis. This policy was probably made possible by a good local clientele and the fact that Bedlinog was located on the main rail line between Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil. Thus it was an easy matter to obtain and return product to and from the Cardiff vaults.

The local newspaper reveals that in September 1934 the Pavilion was running one show a night with the doors opening at 6.45pm and the show starting at 7.15pm.Seats were 6d, 9d and 1/-. There was also a childrens' matinee on Saturday afternoons that differed from the later evening performance. The manager at that time was Mr. Jimmie James.
