The Kearsley Theatre opened in 1949. It featured slide back seats, a cry room and a parking lot that opened onto two streets. George Daly owned the theater most of its life. It closed in 1965. After the theater closed it was later turned into Affairs to Remember and antique mall.

Is a Cry Room a baby changing room? i've never heard the term.

Shoeshoe, many of the older theatres had a room at the back of the theatre that had a glass from facing the screen whereby mothers or fathers could take a small baby that was being restless or crying. They could view the movie while trying to settle the child.
