The 15 (or Highway 15) Outdoor Theatre opened in 1950, a single-screen drive-in with space for about 500 cars. After a windstorm in 1984 blew down the screen tower, the drive-in was closed and never reopened and was later demolished.

Was more than a windstorm. I witnessed the huge bolt of lightning that ripped through the structure of the screen. I lived about 3 blocks from the site at the time and it was visible from our second story window. The owners at the time did not have insurance so they were forced to sell the property. Their plan was to have it re-open within about a month.
