I think there is an A & W Family Restaurant located there.

Was this a theater where there were no tickets? You paid then either walked right or left for whatever movie was playing and then thru a turn style? They had really tiny screens that were hung from the ceilimg so you actualy had to look up. If it was, I saw "Meatballs", and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" in it's original first run.

I saw a few films there. It had small screens that were raised high on the wall in front of you. I saw a bad dupe of "Magical Mystery Tour" there, and "That's Entertainment!" in 1974. I may be wrong, but I think a Blockbuster video store is presently at the location where the theater stood, but I would guess the original building was vastly altered.

This was a weird location for a theatre, in the middle of nowhere on a street parallel to the Long Island Railroad. Oh, well, at least no problem getting a parking space. I don't remember a turnstile here, but I do remember one at the Glen Oaks.
