The Dewitt Drive-In opened in 1950 and closed in 1984. It was owned by Cinema National and had a capacity for 800 cars.

Here is an ad from the Syracuse Herald Journal dated 7/10/50:

Boo! They tore down this drive-in and put in a shopping center with a Price Chopper. Right down the street was an old style McDonald's (1950's style with giant yellow arches) that got torn down around the same time, summer 1984.

The DeWitt Drive-in opened on July 8, 1950. It's final season was in 1984.
