Jeslyn recently renovated the former movie theater. The marquee has been removed. It’s still open, however.

There is a 1930’s Palace theater cloth movie banner that lists the Spring movies for sale on EBay. It was posted earlier in the week.

The Camelot is no longer a movie theater. It is now Jeslyn Performing Art Center. www.jeslyn.org It is a wonderful addition to our downtown. The new owners are slowing refurbishing it. If anyone has pictures of the original Palace Theater they would love to see them.

GHTC closed the Camelot Theatre Jan. 5, 2006
From a story about the Keith Albee Theater closing Jan. 22, 2006. I dont know the future of this building but I do know that all movie equipment was removed from it.

The Palace Theatre seated 1325 people when it was a single screen theatre.
