West Rome Drive-In

The West Rome Drive-in located on Route 69 opened on June 6, 1951 with Red Skelton in “Watch the Birdie” & Ben Johnson in “Wagonmaster”. It was a single screen drive-in. In 1985 a second screen was added. This drive-in has a capacity for 500 cars.

On April 10, 2014, the owners of the drive-in, Davidson Auto Group, announced that the West Rome Drive-In would not be opening for the summer 2014 season. The reason given was the cost of conversion to digital projection and poor attendances. It had been demolished by 2019.
