I saw and photographed the exterior of the McDonald week-before-last. It is in operation as a concert venue.
Interesting info in that article:
“The McDonald Theatre opened on May 27, 1925, as the Lowell Theater and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places”.
Maybe the article should be posted as a news file in case someone is interested in buying this theater.

This theater is owned by the Kesey family of Eugene. Ken Kesey is the now deceased patriarch of that family and was the leader of the Merry Pranksters and the bus Furthur that was immortalized in Tom Wolffe’s, Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.
