Mike Rogers. Most of the Driveins in Eastern Mass were 900-1200 cars. This is not such a small state in pop. This drive in was in the Boston metro area just north of the city. There were over 3 million in the area at the time and we had many drive ins around. Now there are none Only 6 or less in Mass. What a shame. WE ARE NOT A SMALL STATE in pop only in area. We also have more champions in sports in the last 10 yrs than any other area of the country. Where are you from.

The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which is currently occupied by a shopping center.

Here is a 1955 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of HistoricaAerials.com.

According to aerial photos from 1955-1971, the drive-in appears to have been operating for at least those 16 years, probably longer.

Man, this was a whopper of a drive in theatre! It parked 1000 cars and was owned by E.M. Loew. One of the larger drive-ins in that small state,

Yes that is it. The Drive-In operated some time in the 1960’s and was not open very long from what I have been told from people in town

Which strip mall is Crossroads? Is it the one with the Roche Bros. supermarket and Panera Bread?
