The Montague Drive-In opened in August of 1950. The opening day movie is listed as “On the Town” with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly. The Montague Drive-In closed around 1976.

This theatre was located at 1020 South Gallatin Pike.
A McDonald’s sits on the site of the former Montague Drive-In.
I remeber that in the 60’s, the Montague advertised itself as “Nashville’s Only Independent”, as all of the other drive-in’s in Nashville were run by the Martin chain>

In 1975 the Montague Drive-In had a capacity for 810 cars.
yes it parked 810 cars and in 1956 it was owned by C.H.Kurtz.
Went to this drive-in many times growing up it was about ½ mile from Madison Square Shopping Center were the LOEWS MADISON was located behind the center.
