Christmas tree shops sadly closed last summer 2023
The Motion Picture Herald wrote in 1952 that Meyer Stanzler was the Boro’s operator. Full text on Internet Archive.
I would love any copies of photos or memorabilia from the Boro Drive-in. He also owned the Quonset Drive-in too.
My grandfather OWNED the Boro Drive-in. My very first job was selling tickets and working in the concession stand for my grandpa.

The theatre must have opened in the summer of 1949.
The Boro Drive-In was located just over the line in North Attleborough, MA. Watch my video that was shot in 1991. You can see the sign just under the Grossman’s sign.

May 27 1978 i remember my brothers going to the Drive-in i found the ticker stub $6.00 a car load they had 9 in my dads wagon they went to see the “I live again” double back with the Sentinel the address shown is Route One Prov-Boston Rd South Attleboro,Mass @ Route 1 and Route 1A
This Drive-in was located North of the Red Rock Diner Behind what sat Tile Rammer now the Christmas Tree store I worked the Concession stand on Friday’s evenings a few years prior to the closing it had alot of old run down equiment but was a hot spot out lasting most of the drive in in that area
A September, 1975 newspaper ad shared with the Quonset Drive-In in North Kingstown, RI, promotes Games Guys Play along with Games Girls Play and the third feature, Roommates. $4.00 a carload.
