Organizers of the Maine International Film Festival plan to buy Railroad Square Cinema to help guarantee the cinema’s long-term health.

Digital projection to be installed in January. Theaters seat: 1 – 150, 2 – 90, 3 – 48.

I agree looks like a sea food place.Lets make theatres look like theatres!

The Railroad Square in Waterville has been named one of the top 5 movie theaters in New England by Yankee Magazine.

The Railroad Square Cinema is listed as a twin in 1998 with 250 seats.

A dump, but the only place to see alternative cinema in Central Maine.

From their flier for the MIFF the theaters seat 150/90/48.
They are also using the grand old Opera House which seats 940.
