The 630 seat suburban Broadway Cinema is situated amidst terraced houses in Manor Street.

It first opened in 1914 as the Manor Street Picture House and had seating in stalls and balcony areas. It was later known as the Palladium Cinema and in 1934 it became the Broadway Cinema.

It closed in 1956 and today is used as a youth training and community centre.

The Broadway Cinema opened in 1914.

In the 1940’s it seated about 650 persons. It has been out of cinema purposes since the late 1950’s.
