Drive-in theatre just down the street from the Tejas-Aztec, both on North Navarro. There is actually a street named Gemini Drive where the Gemini Theatre entrance used to be.

Last time I went to the Gemini Theater was to see Jaws.
Listed as the Twin Ranch Drive-In in 1975 with a capacity for 975 cars.
grand opening ad on July 19th, 1965 as Gemini at View link
My father, George Jolley, used to manage this drive in theatre in the 70’s. We lived at the theatre in a mobile home supplied by the owner. I was a full time projectionist there at the age of 11. It had a ferris wheel and carousel, both of which were not working when we arrived. It had a 500' throw from the projector lense to the screen. The front screen was so large that it had to be concave for the lense to focus at the outer edges.
Yes, lostmemory is correct, The capacity was 975 vehicles. It was also fully paved front and back screen. I have endless info on this theatre.
Great info jolley…have any pictures to share?
Approx. address for this drive-in was 4103 North Navarro Street.
On September 17, 1971, a fire damaged the Gemini’s concession stand and office.
