This first run theatre survived into the early 80’s. Eventually the newer multiplexes killed it off.

Originally built by Music Makers, the Pond Road 4 became Loews when they bought the Music Makers circuit.
Does anyone know what the exact location of this theater was?
Interestingly enough, there is some projection equipment at the Freehold 14 with Pond Road written on it. Whether these are actual “relics” or just the result of a joke for a bored projectionist with a sharpie, I do not know.
In the strip mall on Rt 9 near E Freehold Road. North Side (with Staples). I believe this is a duplicate entry with the Rt 9 Cinema 4 entry. It was located right where Pet Smart or PetCo or whatever it you call it is located on the north side of the stores.
