Here is a photo of the Ginter Theatre dated 1938.

I’m not sure how the photo got there. In the background is the Wine shop at 4009 MacArthur Ave. According to “Celebrate Richmond Theater” by Kathrine Fuller-Seeley, the Ginter was at 4011 Rappahannock (now MacArthur) Ave.

What is the point in this photograph of a former 7-11 store front now occupied by another business? It is at least 3 times removed from the Ginter Theatre.

The Ginter was designed by Richmond architect Fred Bishop, according to Boxoffice Magazine, September 11, 1937.
