And no curtain. Pathetic. Not at all what I hoped Cinerama would be. Think they had to cut the run short and stick in a revival of Romeo and Juliette. One of those what were they thinking exhibitions. Do it right or don’t do it.

Cinerama rip off. Shown in 70mm on a flat screen in most of the theatres that showed this ‘Cinerama Is Back print’. People that never saw the original curved screen 3 projector movie wondered about the problems with the lines and different color sections as they did not do a good job transferring to 70mm. The only thing that didn’t sound bad was the soundtrack at least It had 6 track mag stereo surround sound, missing a few channels from the original mag track. One of the few original Cinerama Theatres showed It in 70mm on their curved screen with curtains correct at the Cinerama Dome Hollywood, they never had 3 projectors to start with till later on, mostly just ran 70mm roadshow and Super 70mm Cinerama titles.
