Gordonsville Drive-In

The Gordonsville Drive-In opened in 1949 with a capacity for 150 cars. The Gordonsville Drive-In closed in 1984 and has been demolished.

There was an indoor theater in the town.Couldn’t figure out a possible bldg,day before yesterday,as I looked.

My 1956 Motion picture Almanac has it parking ONLY 100 cars.It was owned by McDaniel Circuit.

It also played “I AM CURIOUS,YELLOW” at the outragous price of $2.50 a person on May 6 1970.About 30 miles from Charlottesville,Vir.
