The former Gage Park Theater, located on 51st Street between Talman Avenue and Rockwell Street in the Gage Park neighborhood opened in the early 30s. The theater was closed by the early 50s. Today, the former theater houses a VFW hall.

My grandfather owned it, or operated a theater there in the 30’s. It was called the Gaelic at that time.

The Gaelic was on 47th.
