All I could find as far as the time line was that the theatre opened in 1959. Any further information woudl be appreciated.

The location for this theater is quite a ways off. It was further east in the Fairmount shopping district of Independence, Missouri. The theater was located on the south side of the three-way intersection of Huttig Avenue and U.S. 24 (Independence Avenue). There was a drugstore on one side and a restaurant on the other side of the theater.

Address should be 10223 E. Independence Ave., Independence, Mo. 64053 and it will map properly. (The street is also known as E. US Highway 24)
