I can understand how the two theaters could be confused. Both Lyric and Hippodrome have an “i” in their name. LOL

You link is to the wrong Lyric Theatre. It should be posted on the Hippodrome page which was the site of the Lyric Theatre that the Hippodrome replaced. There were two Lyrics in Alton.

The address on this theatre should be N. Second St. Second St. runs North & South.
