Off topic, but worth reading about; near Enid was Bathsheba, OK, a town created to be a utopia for women where no men were allowed.

The Rita Theater was located at 115 E. Broadway in Enid, OK. The site is currently a parking lot directly across the street south from the Broadway Tower. From the lay of the land, the building had at least a main floor (street level) and a basement. According to the 1935 Enid City Directory, the theater manager that year was Max Burger.
