Tulsa State Theatre had a “reverse” layout. From the lobby ticket holders entered the auditorium from either side of the screen, projection booth and restrooms were in auditorium rear.

These images from OHS are not those of the Tulsa State Theatre. Anyone know where this movie house was located?

In this vintage aerial shot the State Theatre can be seen near photo lower right. Above the State can be seen Main Street Cinema. Several other Tulsa downtown movie houses can be seen here, but unfortunately it would be too complicated to point out where each one is located.
