The Strand Theater is located on Fourth Street in Hamburg. This small single screen theater retains much of its original charm and is little changed from when it opened in 1920. The marquee is the brightest spot on the street and lights up the whole area. The auditorium is all on one floor and seats around 400.

A group is hoping to turn it nonprofit. Paragraph about history: The Strand has done a great job collecting memories. They have the original projector from 1920. They have ticket stubs and the original red seats. Some of the old movies can be found in the basement.
