The Nellis Theater is located on Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Similar to civilian theaters, it is air conditioned, has a concession stand and Dolby Surround Sound. The schedule varies but currently it shows one movie per evening except on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday when the theater is closed. As with many military theaters, it is operated by AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service).

Nellis AFB is home to the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron called the “Thunderbirds”.

The Nellis AFB theatre and the Luke AFB theatres (In Phoenix AZ) are virtual carbon copies of each other. Each has a Burger King right next door also.
