The address was 104 E. Kleberg, today across the street from the Post Office. Originally called the Kings Inn Theatre, it was remodeled into the Rialto Theatre and reopened October 4, 1929

Another remodeling, designed by Spillman & Spillman, opened May 21, 1937. News clip, Grand Opening ad, architectural rendering and Sanborn Map in photo section

Rmoreno – do you have any info. on Kingsville’s three drive-in’s – the Brahma, the King, and the El Rancho?

Also, do you remember what block of East Kleberg the Rialto was located in?

Thanks.

Rialto Theatre was part of Hall Industries. It usually ran 2nd run movies. It closed down in early 60’s and was demolished. Kleberg Bank was built.
