When looking at the Theater listings in the Santa Fe New Mexican, I would say the Arco closed down sometime in November of 1951. The last listing of the Arco Theater I can find is on Nov. 13th advertising Malaya (1949) but with a large “NO SHOW” next to the cinema title.
I’m looking for the theater that was once on Cerrillos. It was probably about a half a block from Paseo De Peralta. It would be right to the Talin Market. They used to have kiddie matinees on Saturdays, like 100 cartoons etc. Can you help me find the name?
