A small shopping center now occupies the space where the Five Points once stood at the intersections of 34th Street, Brownfield Highway, and Slide Road.

Elmer Tarbox, a politician, was the original owner.

Many Lubbock theaters shown. El Capitan; Plaza; Clifton; Lindsey; Cactus; Westerner Drive-In; Corral; Broadway; Midway; Plains Drive-In; Arnett-Benson; Arcadia.

This name is very unfamiliar. When my family moved to Lubbock in 1956, the drive-in at this location was called the Sunset. Was there an earlier (or later) name?

Now CVS! Approx. address for this drive-in was 3402 Slide Road.
