Opened as the Little Doo in 1909 and became the Two Johns Theatre in 1911. The theatre was named after the two owners that were both named John. Mr. John Victor died at the age of 91 on Aug. 16, 1933, he was credited with construction and operating one of the first buildings exclusively used for moving pictures in Indianapolis, the Vaudette. The Two Johns Theatre operated until 1959.

Different Name for a theatre, I hope they were not refering to the restrooms.
tlsloews, as stated in the intro it was named after the owners both whose first name was John. This was an African American Theatre.
