Photos, anyone?
The March 14, 1953, issue of Boxoffice said that the State Theatre had been closed and converted to commercial use “about a year ago.”
According to Bowers' “Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments” page 551, the “Sunset Amus Co.” of Charlotte had a Reproduco organ made by the Operators Piano Co. I could not find a page for them, so I am putting this here for the time being.
