Here is another theater photo. This one is the former Crown Theater in Calumet, Michigan. All I found on this theater so far is, it closed and became a shoe store. Any further information on the Crown Theater would be appreciated.

I think this is the same theater. The city of Calumet was called Red Jacket until 1929.

The owner/manager of the theater in 1917 was John Vogel. Unfortunately, he was killed in a fire at the theater that same year. If you have time to read through the case, you may agree with me that the insurance company rather heartlesly denied his life insurance claim:

I don’t know if it’s the same theater under a different name or not, but in 1909 there was a Grand Theatre in Calumet, operated by a Mr. D.E. Rice and a Mr. Vogel.
